An organisational
perspective.
I’m a lecturer and doctoral researcher interested in what it takes to turn technological potential into meaningful change.
My teaching and programme leadership span the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) and AI Leadership. Alongside this, my doctoral research explores AI and robotics in healthcare systems, with a particular focus on NHS intensive care.
I’m interested in how these technologies fit into everyday working life: how decisions are made, how services are organised, and how staff can be supported through change.
I grew up in Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton, and joined the University of Wolverhampton as a lecturer at the age of 25. My connection to the city now extends into my doctoral research at New Cross Hospital—the same hospital where I was born. This gives my work a personal significance, connecting my academic interests with the community I call home.
